Le Tonle is a pretty basic hotel, everything works and is relatively clean. It’s right on the riverside in the northern, more “happening” (if anywhere in Kratie can be called happening) part of town. The aircon works well and can be left on when you're out if the room. Good for you, bad for them. Means you can come back to a chilly room.
It looks like they serve food in site but I didn't try it.
My room was on the second floor ([[European Floor Counting]], third floor American) and there isn't an elevator. The stairs are steep, but the handrail is your friend. Good sized room, comfy bed, clean linens. Hot water worked well and there was a power outlet next to the bed. Solid room. USD20/night.
I bought a ticket to Banlung, Ratanakiri, from the front desk. Wasn't a bad experience, but just an fyi in terms of what you might expect [[Traveling Kratie to Banlung]].
