Phnom Penh, Cambodia
For many travelers, Phnom Penh is just a quick stopover between the temples of Angkor and more "attractive" locales in Laos and Thailand. To many, a couple days is more than enough to explore Khmer Rouge history and maybe see the palace, along with sorting out visas, buying plane tickets, and other logistical tasks. For those willing to stay a bit and find out what the city has to offer, there is much to be discovered including good food, good drink, and good people.
