Motel Phnom Yaklom sits atop a hill overlooking Banlung town and the forests that surround it. The view is the highlight. They offer bungalows (USD10) and air-conditioned hotel rooms (USD20 and up). They offer free transportation back and forth to town and to the lake, but the question is whether they have the staff to drive the van. They also offer very cheap motorcycle rental, when the bikes are healthy. They have had some managers rotate in and out so the customer service can be inconsistant, but the beauty of the grounds is undeniable.
